Nutrition Philosophy

Nutrient dense foods that our bodies were designed to eat are essential to our health. These foods include quality meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits and healthy fats. By removing foods that our bodies have not evolved to eat such as genetically modified, highly processed foods and gut irritants like grains, we avoid an abundance of inflammation and associated non-communicable disease. As an added bonus we shed fat while gaining muscle, increase stamina and performance, quicken recovery time and stabilize energy levels throughout the day!

What foods to avoid?
  1. Grains: wheat, barley, rye, quinoa, rice, oats, etc.
  2. Legumes: beans, peanuts (they are not a nut!)
  3. Dairy: Milk, cheese, yogurt, cream, etc
What to eat?
Everything else! Meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds, oils and spices galore! See the helpful links below for more information on how to get started on the Paleo diet.
